TASTING NOTES: Astringent, soft, sweet Persistent fruit flavour. TECHNICAL NOTES: It is the most famous Bourgogne variety and has been the source of many sparkling wines. Grown throughout the Italian peninsula, it produces small cylindrical bunches of beautiful yellow grapes. Alexander Grappa di Chardonnay is steam distilled from the marc and then refined for several months in stainless steel containers.
