TASTING NOTES A  sweet wine with a deep ruby red colour, iy has a spicy bouquet with nuances of raisined fruit and a full flavour and silky texture. It shares the "appassimento" technique with Amarone, but differs in that the process of fermentation comes to a natural stop before all sugars have been transformed into alcohol. TECHNICAL NOTES De-stemming and crushing at the end of January. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Ageing,  Matured in oak for 14 months, blended together for 2 months and bottle-aged for 10 months.
