TASTING NOTES: Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, long finish. Very tight and stylish. Racy and powerful. TECHNICAL NOTES: Brunello di Montalcino is made 100% from Sangiovese. Traditionally, the wine goes through an extended maceration period where color and flavor are extracted from the skins. Following fermentation the wine is then aged in oak. - Fermentation and maceration: 23 days - It matures in small oak barrels for 30 months and in the bottle for 18 months.
